1.Sunday, December 11– San Diego Parade of Lights
The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a cherished San Diego holiday tradition and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year on the nights of December 11 and 18!
The Parade of Lights will kick off with a fireworks display at 5:30 p.m., followed by more than 80 vessels lavishly decorated according to this year’s theme, “Back to the Future.
2. Monday, December 12–Jingle Ball Concert
This exciting event will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Anthology, San Diego’s Award-Winning Live Music Venue. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the Concert begins at 7:30 pm.
This year’s concert features Christina Perri, Singer-Songwriter of the smash hit “Jar of Hearts;”
Parachute, the hip young Rock Band from Charlottesville, Virginia; and the British Indie Rock Band, Scars on 45.
3. Tuesday, December 13– Skating by the Sea
Support Season of Wishes by skating at the outdoor, beachside ice-skating rink at the Hotel Del Coronado! ‘Skating by the Sea’ is a unique Southern California experience as it is the only outdoor beachside ice-skating rink overlooking the Pacific Ocean! A portion of the proceeds from the rink will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
4. Wednesday, December 14– A Christmas Carol
Join SOHO and the Whaley House Museum staff for a performance of Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday ghost story, A Christmas Carol, set in the historic and haunted Whaley House. The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet-To-Come, will unfold as you go from room to room in the historic 1857 brick mansion known as “America’s Most Haunted.

19th Annual Traditions of Christmas takes you on musical journey around the world with spectacular sets, costumes, full piece orchestra and cast of 100. Experience San Diego’s own Rockette-style kick line dancers. See Santa’s workshop come alive with dancing elves, Raggedy Ann dolls and toy soldiers.
