1. Sunday, November 20– The Old Globe’s Christmas Tree Lighting
The sixth annual Old Globe Christmas Tree Lighting will kick off the holiday season in conjunction with San Diego’s favorite holiday musical, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Designed by Grinch scenic designer John Lee Beatty, the unique tree will be located in the center of the Globe Plaza and will remain for the run of the show. This fun family event will feature a special live performance by members of the Grinch and a delightful holiday snowfall on the Globe’s Copley Plaza.

4. Wednesday, November 23– Movie: The Muppets
Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, is on vacation in Los Angeles with his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams). They discover that greedy Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) plans to raze Muppet Theater and drill for oil on the spot. Desperate to save the Muppets’ former stomping grounds, the three friends join forces with Kermit to reunite Miss Piggy, Fozzie and the rest of the gang to hold a telethon to raise the $10 million they need to save the theater.

Savor the taste of Thanksgiving at THE US GRANT with Grant Grill’s Holiday Tasting Dinner, created by Chef de Cuisine Chris Kurth. This 5-course dinner is being offered for $85/person from 12-7pm.
