The exhibit will feature the work of two artists who work interactively with the physicality of space, location, and land. Bill Gilbert is the Lannan Foundation Endowed Chair of the Art and Ecology program at University of New Mexico. Yoshimi Hayashi is a professor of art at MiraCosta College. The artists have exhibited their works in galleries and museums nationally and internationally, and recently returned from an art field studies expedition in the Australian wilderness sponsored by Australian National University

Fresh off of its successful run on Broadway, Rancho Buena Vista High School will be performing for the first time ever in San Diego County, “Legally Blonde, The Musical”. This high energy musical follows the story of Elle Woods, the girl who follows her love to Harvard Law School but while there discovers her ability to help and defend others with her unique outlook on life

 

6. Friday, March 16- Exhibit: Encounters

Steinunn Thórarinsdóttir is an Icelandic-born and internationally recognized sculptor who is celebrated for her use of cast iron, steel, aluminum and glass. “Encounter,” is also the title of the cornerstone sculpture featured in the show.
