Sunday September 19th – Artwalk on the Bay
Fine arts festival – see original art and meet the artists on a 4.3 acre grassy waterfront in downtown San Diego while walking the bay.  What better place to be?   

Monday September 20th – Drunk Poets’ Society


A collection of poets that come together from all over the world every Monday night to read poetry and have a beer in lovely Ocean Beach.   

Tuesday September 21th – Chinese Moon Festival
Join the Chinese HistoricalMuseum in celebrating the brightest full moon of the year!  Mooncakes made of red bean paste or sweet lotus seed will be prepared along with Chinese stories of jade rabbits, fairy princesses and arts and crafts.

Wednesday September 22nd – Coronado Heritage Walk – 2 pm, 1100 Orange Avenue, 92118, (619) 435-7242
Hour-long narrated strolls through historic downtown, Star Park Circle, past oceanfront  mansions led by Coronado Historical docents.  Receive complimentary maps, brochures, discount tickets, and info on events and attractions in Coronado.

Thursday September 23rd – Full Moon Walk on Scripps Pier
Usually not open to the public, Scripps chose a warm night lit by the full moon as a perfect time to explore La Jolla’s prominent landmark – Scripps Pier.   All 1,090 feet of the concrete pier can be explored while scientists guide participants as they dissect squid, make marine organisms glow in the dar, and collect plancton.  For ages 9 and up.

Friday September 24th – Dishes from Switzerland
dFind out healthy easy Swiss dishes and enjoy lunch in La Jolla.  Yum!

Saturday September 25th – Race on the Base
San Diego honors and celebrates the men and women of the military through public events and entertainment to thank the heroes.  Come and do the same at the auto racing on spectator friendly 1.7 mile course constructed on tarmac and exhibitions for car enthusiasts.
