Top 7 Hottest Things to do in San Diego This Week

1.  Sunday August 22nd – J Six Chef Experience
Come out and take a trip to the Farmer’s Market and end up in an interactive afternoon indulging and munching on amazing food from the Chef of J Six.

2.  Monday August 23rd – La Jolla Wine Tours


Wine and walking!  Enjoy a three hour, one mile walking tour of La Jolla including wine tastings and food pairings at resaurants and presentations by local sommeliers and artisans explaining the history and culture of La Jolla. 

3.  Tuesday August 24th – Full Moon Walk on Scripps Pier
Usually not open to the public, Scripps chose a warm night lit by the full moon as a perfect time to explore La Jolla’s prominent landmark – Scripps Pier.   All 1,090 feet of the concrete pier can be explored while scientists guide participants as they dissect squid, make marine organisms glow in the dar, and collect plancton.  For ages 9 and up.

4.  Wednesday August 25th – Coronado Heritage Walk – 2 pm, 1100 Orange Avenue, 92118, (619) 435-7242
Hour-long narrated strolls through historic downtown, Star Park Circle, past oceanfront  mansions led by Coronado Historical docents.  Receive complimentary maps, brochures, discount tickets, and info on events and attractions in Coronado.

5. Thursday August 26th – Encinitas 21st Annual Taste of Main Street
21st annual!  Participating restaurants offer a variety of food, 36 different tast sensations.  See website above for purchasing tickets.  

6.  Friday August 27th – All That Glitters!
Gem fair with classes and demonstrations available.  Over 100 deals offering jewelry, gems, beads, crystals, silver, rocks, minerals, and more.

7.  Saturday August 28th – Get Ready for Labor Day Food and Fun
