San Diego Attracts Food Network Bad Boy.

Mr. Bourdani coming to San Diego and of course no reservation required.

Anyone else out there consider themselves a foodie? I think it’s safe to say that all of us love to eat to some degree. Well if you’re looking for something to do you can head out to our San Diego north county, more specifically Escondido, and meet Food Network start Anthony Bourdain.

The “bad boy”, as he’s refered to, of cooking  is coming to visit San Diego at the California Center for the Arts. I happen to be a fan of him mostly for his no nonsense style. His adventurous escapades around the globe are truly entertaining. From enjoying a meal in some of the most elegant fine dinning establishments to hanging out where the local cad drivers like to eat, he does it all.

I’m glad to see that San Diego is able to attract food critics of celebrity status to visit. Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives also made a visit recently. San Diego has some fabulous restaurants and it’s good to see that we’re getting culinary recognition. Being so close to Los Angeles I think makes it harder on chefs here in San Diego to be featured in the spotlight.

Well, I hope to make it to the California Center for the Artsand hopefully meet and talk with Mr. Bourdain this coming weekend. Cooking is my hobby and I always love spending time with chefs in and out of the kitchen. I’m surprised that after 19 years in the restaurant and hospitality business I still enjoy cooking but I think nothing could ever change that. I wish you all happy meals with great friends and great conversations. Happy dinning!
