Mission Nights Love!

The 3rd Wednesday of every month Mission Hills has a unique event put MissionNightstogether for businesses and residents to unite, lots of fun if you are looking for things to do in San Diego.

What is it?

Mission Nights is a free open-house style event sponsored once a month by the Mission Hills merchants.  You can find all the fun between University, Fort Stockton, Eagle and Hawk.

Here is a list of the businesses that were open for the event:  Young and Co, Lefty’s Pizzeria, Fitness Together, Top Salon and Cinema, Gathering, Avalon, Howlistic, Mission Hills Chiropractic, Casa della Bella Italia, Washington West, M-Theory Music, San Diego Fire Dept, Zetouna’s, Folk Art International, Olivetto’s, US Bank, Starbucks, Venissimo, Lavish, City Wok, Bamboo, Salon Ink, Storm International Florist, Mission Hills Florists, Hillside’s Artisan Children’s Boutique, Kesselman Acupuncture, Maison en Province, Christie’s Boutique, California Fleurish, Mission Hills tax services, House of Heirlooms, Rubie’s Hair Studio and Boutique.

Now, I have to disclose that I have my Homeowner’s Association meeting every time Mission Nights is thrown so I am relaying this info and someday hope to have a free Wednesday to partake in the fun. My friends went last night and I was fortunate enough to meet up with them after the HOA meeting at FAVE place the Red Door to chat, snack and get an update on what Mission Nights is like, here is:

Sampling and goodies included ricotta spread crackers and roasted tomato at Venissimo, mint tea and apple cider  tonic at Lavish, art and a glass of wine at 1Mission, a free workout towel from Fitness Together, sample pasta at Olivetto, pizza samplings at Lefty’s, and a mini carne asada taco at the Gathering.  Not bad, huh!

I have to say that from the new hip website OurMissionHills.com to this amazing monthly gathering, Mission Hills, an already extremely desireable place to live, has displayed what a thriving place it is and what a sense of community residents and businesses alike share.

P.S.  Did I mention how great Red Door and Wellington are?  Go there soon!
