2. Monday, July 18th- Nightime Zoo China Celebration

Going to the San Diego zoo at night is perfect. There are fewer crowds and more fun  shows to explore.

3. Tuesday, July 19th- ” George Inness in Italy”
Organized by Philadelphia Museum of Art, exhibition examines Inness’s two Italian sojourns (1851-52 and 1870-74), their formative impact on his experimentation with style and composition.

4. Wednesday, July 20th-   “One and Only Truly Fabulous Hat Contest” 
Opening-day festivities for 2011 seaside racing season hosted by Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. To enter contest, go to Plaza de Mexico for entry form (11:30am-3pm). Hat parade: 3pm.
