Great Charity Event Here in the Mission Hills Area.
Food, music and charity in one? Sounds good to me!
Do you like to have fun and give back to the community at the same time? I would say most of us do. Looking for something to do in the upcoming weeks I came upon a local event that I think should be great. It’s the fifth annual so we can safely say that the past years events have been a success.
The name of the event is “Fruit of the Soul” and it’s going to be held at Specialty Produce over on Hancock St. We should all try and do something to make the world a better place and I think this is an excellent opportunity. I’ve posted complete information and I hope to see some of you there.
Join us in the celebration of the 5th Annual Fruit of the Soul on October 16th, 2010 where we encourage you to Give Back and Dance It Out!
Fruit of the Soul dedicates its energy to supporting and implementing music, art and nutritional education programs in San Diego. We believe these elements are necessary for our youth’s left & right brain creativity and growth.
At Fruit of the Soul, we seek local organizations, in need of community support, working to sustain the education and experience of art, music and nutrition in youth and young adult’s lives. We implement projects that empower youth with educational tools, incorporating business learning to the world of creativity.
Our annual fund-raiser brings together all things locally creative. The event features Executive Chefs from San Diego’s top restaurants, as well as local musicians, artists and philanthropists. It attracts over 700 attendees each year and has successfully given back over $60,000 to San Diego organizations.
Fruit of the Soul is an organization which strives to exceed its own goals and continue to encourage healthy, creative minds.
