Loss of Used Car Salesmen in Real Estate Equals Higher Client Satisfaction

Client satisfaction is up!

Woo hoo!

Realtors and consumers alike can rejoice in this news.  Hallelujah!

J.D. Power and Associates report that client satisfaction for buyers is up.  For sellers it is down except with the one and only award-winning Prudential brand:)   I had to throw in a little “Rah Rah” for my company’s sake:)  Lol

Prudential is the only company to improve in home seller satisfaction in 2010 with a score of 760.  No indication was given of the max score, I’m assuming it is 100.

With both buyers and sellers the importance of agents has increased in 2010.  Buyers are relying even more on negotiation skills and they’re happy with the purchase prices they’re getting.

Some of the biggest factors going in to the satisfaction factor was the bond with the actual agent.  Since it takes months to find an actual home and close escrow….boy oh boy, the buyers want someone that they like, likes them, and has the patience to wait out the number of showings.

What else?  Well, nowadays the purchase is even more complex than in the past so now the affiliations are important.  So who your agent uses for loans, title, escrow, home warranties, all of the ancillary aspects need to be top notch.

I hate to be redundant, but now that it actually takes some skill and work to sell real estate, all the quick talkers are gone and buyers and sellers are getting better service.

They say that real estate is slow these days, but which would you prefer?  The days of unprecedented appreciation leading to a broken economy or stabilization?

Congratulations buyers and sellers, you get the attention and customer service that you deserve when you buy your San Diego real estate!
