Making Heads or Tails of the Homeowners’ Assistance

Making heads or tails of Homeowners Assistance Programs

Unemployed and not feeling so optimistic about finding a new job?

There are a ton of options now. I’m still trying to make heads and tails out of them all!

Will they help? Don’t know but let’s see what happens.

Jose Palomo of Riverside County in California lost job for the city of Riverside and his mortgage lender told him there was no way he could save his house from foreclosure.  Just recently he found out that he was approved for a forbearance program from CitiMortgage slashing his payment from $1,130 to $600 for three months and in the meantime he can hunt for a permanent job.

Nowadays unemployment is the number one reason why mortgages are defaulting.

There are quite a few of these sites, zillow, cyberhomes, eppraisal.

What’s wrong with the picture?

7 Screamin’ Tips That the Mortgage Company Website is a Scam

The Federal Trade Commission’s fake mortgage company site aims to educate about scams, but not just with a boring article and tips to prevent scams…

The site goes so much deeper.

The Federal Trade Commission created a “teaser” site which screams, “We guarantee a loan to fit every situation.”

Ever Wonder How San Diego’s Real Estate Market is “REALLY” Doing?

Which direction is the real estate market REALLY going?

As a REALTOR with Prudential California Realty I’m asked this question more than I can count because I’m  involved in San Diego Real Estate.  I, like the public at large, have to really read carefully into what the media publishes, says and presents. San Diego real estate is a hot topic of conversation at most places I go and I think it will continue to be for some time to come.

Well, California was given the opportunity in the last elections to vote on a high speed rail, and the vote was YES.  A recent survey shows that Californians support the state’s effort to build eight hundred miles of steel track linking Sacrament to San Diego and they want it to be completed as quickly as possible.

But even more exciting?
